CREED恺芮得 X 装置艺术家Kolodny 联袂呈现全新艺术合作

CREED恺芮得与装置艺术家Kolodny携手呈现全新艺术合作,两位在艺术领域的卓越匠师将香氛文化与三维视觉艺术相连结,共同打造全球独一无二的艺术作品。

 

Kolodny将为CREED恺芮得全球门店倾情打造引人入胜的节日季橱窗装置,以时尚趣味的创新风貌为门店增添艺术氛围,同时致敬CREED恺芮得长久以来对艺术的热爱与支持。此次创意合作将在CREED恺芮得全球门店精美呈现,包括中国两家门店(上海新天地门店和北京三里屯门店)。

在这次与CREED恺芮得的合作中,Kolodny以球体为核心媒介,通过实践与创新,巧妙运用最优质且具有最佳反射效果的镜面材料,以无穷的反射与变化,将观众带入其作品中。球体的金色亚克力镜面既具有华美外观,又经久耐用,完美呼应CREED恺芮得摩登优雅的现代格调,精巧演绎品牌经典魅力与创新艺术的碰撞相融。为突出品牌标识,并体现节日的温馨欢愉之感,整体品牌标识采用了活力十足的琥珀色氛围灯装饰。

双色球体以金色和银色为主色调,与品牌2023假日色系相得益彰,创造出极其吸睛的鲜明对比感,融入橱窗设计,在提供真切体验感的同时,点亮艺术空间,彰显出品牌的高品质格调与意趣之美。

 

受Kolodny艺术创作启发,此次CREED恺芮得2023圣诞礼盒包装也采用金银主色调,呈现两款不同品牌logo压花图案,礼献温暖节日,点亮奢华质感假日氛围。礼盒内包含三款10ml的CREED恺芮得传世之作:拿破仑之水 Aventus、银色山泉Silver Mountain Water 和千年帝国 Millésime Impérial,售价1380元。

“为CREED创作橱窗设计时,我从CREED经典优雅的标志性瓶身中汲取了深刻灵感。为了增强美学联系,我重点围绕标志性的酒瓶轮廓展开设计,并融入金色和银色球体,以独特的方式全新打造瓶身的轮廓。”

此次联袂合作的橱窗装置将在CREED恺芮得迈阿密设计区精品店(Kolodny的家乡)首次亮相,由Kolodny亲自策划装办,并于2023年11月起登陆全球各地的CREED恺芮得精品店。

 

 

关于Kolodny

Shawn Kolodny是一位当代艺术家,常驻迈阿密和纽约。此前还是一名企业家、投资者和顾问。

 

Kolodny的职业生涯已超过15年,在此期间,Kolodny创作了当代艺术和大型装置作品。他选择以球体作为媒介,捕捉世界的倒影,邀请各位观众置身其中。他的艺术作品超越传统界限,与自然世界紧密相连。毕竟,生活中,球体这个完美的几何体无处不在,平常而有趣。

 

Kolodny的大型作品让人身临其境,观众可以自由地穿行其中,与作品互动,而这一景象,也成为了作品本身的一部分。

CREED恺芮得 (House of Creed) 由James Henry Creed于1760年创立,从作为当时位于伦敦梅菲尔的精致定制裁缝公司向国王乔治三世呈献香氛皮革手套,到之后的260多年里,CREED为独具慧眼的顾客制作最独具匠心的香水,以深厚的历史底蕴成为世界领先的小众奢华香氛品牌。

 

CREED恺芮得采用珍稀的天然成分,颂扬自然之美。每款香氛作品都由多种著名珍稀的精华成分融合而成。CREED恺芮得走遍世界各地,寻找、研究、检验且取得授权以使用最优质的原料:保加利亚、法国、土耳其和摩洛哥的玫瑰;印度茉莉;佛罗伦萨鸢尾;印度晚香玉;海地香根草;卡拉布里亚佛手柑和帕尔马紫罗兰。

 

这些高品质的天然原料都是在法国枫丹白露附近的一家小型手工工厂里进行称重、混合和浸渍,大多数情况下都是纯手工操作。尽管整个过程耗费大量的人力物力,但对于CREED恺芮得而言,艺术和完美即驱动力。

 

 

 

THE HOUSE OF CREED AND KOLODNY PARTNERSHIP

 

The House of Creed is delighted to be working with installation artist Kolodny marrying fragrance and visual art. Kolodny will create captivating window installations for TK Creed boutiques globally, including two in China (Shanghai Xintiandi, and Beijing Sanlitun), as well as a 5x5 meter touring installation moving from Chengdu, to Hong Kong, to Macau. CREED will also launch a dedicated binding issue with Wallpaper China and will be the only market to release 5 limited edition mini Kolodny sculptures.

 

Using his primary medium of inflatable spherical sculptures, Kolodny plays with scale, taking his art and sculptures and expanding them exponentially, using the reflective nature of three-dimensional spheres to bring the viewer inside of his work. His collaboration with The House of Creed will focus on colors of gold and silver to reflect the brand’s Holiday 2023 palette.

 

Shawn Kolodny says “Creed is undoubtedly one of the brands that I revere for its craftsmanship, history and values. As an artist myself, I know how many years of hardship it takes to perfect even one piece of artwork or your craftsmanship. This is where I really feel a synergy with the House of Creed and the 7 generations of tailors and fragrance that have perfected time and time again the scents that we experience now.”

 

Creed and Kolodny have selected the most premium of materials that perfectly resonate with the sophistication and elegance of The House of Creed. The connected spheres will be crafted from CNC cut gold acrylic mirror, which provides both a luxe appearance and durability. To stand out and imbue warmth, the logo will be depicted in a vibrant amber neon.

 

The two-tone spheres will combine polished gold and silver, creating a visually appealing and striking contrast effect. These refined material choices will be incorporated into two window designs, ensuring a seamless experience while maintaining the high-quality aesthetic synonymous with The House of Creed.

 

In crafting my piece for the House of Creed’s window displays, I drew profound inspiration from the timeless elegance exuded by Creed’s iconic bottle.” says Kolodny. “To enhance the aesthetic connection, I carefully orchestrated my design around the contours of the iconic bottle and by incorporating both gold and silver spheres, I was able to define and elevate the silhouette of the bottle in a unique manner.”

 

The captivating window instillations will debut globally at the Creed Miami Design District boutique (Kolodny’s hometown), personally curated and installed by Kolodny himself, with the vision to be adapted throughout Creed boutiques worldwide beginning in November 2023.  

 

About Kolodny

Shawn Kolodny is a contemporary artist based in Miami and New York. He is a former entrepreneur, investor, and advisor.

 

Kolodny’s career has spanned over 15 years creating contemporary art and large scale installations. He uses spheres as his chosen medium that capture reflections of the world, inviting the viewer to be within and without. His art transcends traditional boundaries, producing works that are deeply connected to the natural world. After all, spheres are the only organic and perfectly geometric shape that surround us.

 

Meanwhile, his large-scale works are immersive, allowing viewers to walk through and interact with the pieces, becoming a part of the work itself.

 

 

About The House of Creed

The House of Creed is an authentic perfume house dedicated to the creation of highly original fragrances made from exquisite ingredients.

 

The legend of the brand begins in 1760 when a pair of scented leather gloves was delivered to King George III by a new London tailoring company. Founded by James Henry Creed in the same year as the young king’s accession, the House of Creed has led the way in creativity for clients for more than 260 years.

 

Creed uses rare, natural ingredients that celebrate the beauty of nature. This composition is a combination of prestigious and rare essences. Creed travels extensively to source, research, inspect and commission the finest materials: rose from Bulgaria, France, Turkey and Morocco; Indian jasmine; Florentine iris; tuberose from India; Haitian vetiver; Calabrian bergamot and Parma violets.

The high-quality natural raw ingredients are weighed, mixed, and macerated, in most cases by hand, in a small artisanal factory near Fontainebleau, France. The process is labor-intensive, but Creed is driven by artistry and perfection.
